St Peters @ Sunset is on today!!!

Market Stalls, Jumping Castles, Kids Activites for big kids and little kids, a visit from Santa, the Marrickville Fire Brigade will be dropping by - it's all on and it's going to be great!!

Hot food and drinks, cold drinks, slushies, popcorn, sweets and totally to-die-for desserts will all be available so come along and bring your friends too!

What about the weather? I hear you ask....well yes, mother nature has made up for a very dry October with a very wet November BUT today's forecast is for light showers only so we have made the decision that as we are tougher than a spot of water we will still hold this great event.

Yes, the ground will be wet in some places, in deference to this there will be a larger seated area. Please feel free to bring chairs to sit on, we also recommend you bring a tarp or some plastic to sit on to protect you (or the kids) from the wet ground. A raincoat/umbrella and shoes that don't matter if they get a bit dirty would also be a good idea.

The Day Before the big event!

One sleep to go! The weather hasn't been kind to us today and I know lots of people are wondering if St Peters @ Sunset will be proceeding. The weather forecast is looking like mostly clear with passing showers tomorrow which means that if that is the case we will go ahead. We will be making a final decision tomorrow morning at about 10am. So if you're not sure if it's going to be on then please check back here tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for a fine sunny day tomorrow :)

4th St Peters @ Sunset Event and this year it's Christmas!

This fun family night features: 

• "Arthur Christmas” on a huge inflatable screen (film starts at sunset - about 7.45pm) 
• Christmas gift market stalls
• A visit from Santa
• Kids Jump Zone featuring a huge bouncy slide + a bouncy castle

It's On Tonight!!

The day has dawned clear and sunny! Despite a little wind we will be going ahead with our Family Fun Night as planned.

Don't forget your warm jacket and hat (it's going to be a bit chilly), blankets, a small tarp in case the ground is damp and a torch for when you're heading out.

Prebooked/purchased tickets are $10 each (includes a sausage on a roll and a can of drink + all activities). If you buy at the gate tickets are $12. Kids under 3 free entry (food not included).

Entry is via St Peters St and Silver Street (no entry at Church Street). Parking available in the surrounding streets (Unwins Bridge Road, Silver Street, St Peters Street, Victoria Street, Florence Street)

Despite the weather being a bit 'iffy' today we are still fairly certain that our movie event will go ahead tomorrow night. We will be making our final decision tomorrow morning at about 10am. Please check back to confirm that the event is on.

The weather forecast is for mostly sunny, however it will be cool (top of 18 degrees forecast). So please bring a jacket, a warm hat and a blanket! As it will be dark when you leave please consider a torch too.

In other news...we will also be having a giant inflatable slide and glow in the dark face painting for the kids so come along and bring the family - it's not too late to pre-book your tickets and save $2 a ticket. Experience St Peters @ Sunset!

It's that time again! St Peter's Public School P&C will once again be hosting an Outdoor Movie Night!

After last year's success we thought it would be great to hold this fun family event once more.

This year the film is "Astro Boy" a great flick that we're sure the whole family will enjoy.

Once again we will be serving up a delicious BBQ as part of the ticket price as well as some music and activities for the kids.

So grab your picnic rug, cushions and your family and friends and come join us under the stars in front of the big screen. All proceeds from this event will go towards the refurbishment of our canteen.

Here are all the important details:

WHEN: Gates open 4.45pm, Saturday September 10th, the film will start at sunset

WHERE: St Peters Public School Oval - entry via St Peters St or Silver St

HOW MUCH: $10 for tickets prebooked or purchased prior to the event. $12 for tickets purchased at the gate. Ticket includes a sausage on a roll and a can of soft drink. Children 3 and under are free (entry only - food can be purchased separately)

HOW: To prebook your tickets please email stpeterspandc@gmail.com with your name and the number of tickets required OR phone 0420 986 903 OR 0411 013 048. Your tickets will be set aside and can be paid for and collected on the night.

Tickets will be available for sale on Friday mornings 8.45 til 9.10 in the St Peters Public School hall - at the same time as lunch orders.

Prebooking or prepurchasing your tickets will allow us to cater effectively for the evening (and it will also save you $2 per ticket!)

Tickets will also be available for sale on the night at the gate for $12 each.
